The Mind the Gap Festival returns to The Gateway on International Women's Day, March 8, 2025 featuring a program of live music, speakers, panel discussions, and workshops focused on women's leadership, economic equity, and the power of representation.
We are transforming The Gateway's plaza into a vibrant community space featuring local musicians and business/nonprofit vendors. Meanwhile, the Winter Farmer’s Market will be indoors next door and Kiln will serve as the hub for the festival's panel discussions and workshops.
The stage, presented by Salt Lake City's nonprofit community radio station KRCL 90.9FM, features:
Mel Soul, delivering a dynamic blend of folk and rock
Mowth, powering through punk alternative soundscapes
Talia Keys, genre-defying multi-instrumentalist mixing rock, soul, reggae, and funk
Detzany, crafting contemporary Latin R&B fusion
Jazzy Olivo, innovating in jazz fusion
Stella Standingbear, weaving together hip-hop, R&B, and pop
