Thank you for celebrating Pride Month with Project Rainbow! Your flag will serve as a beacon of love for all who see it! We will collect it any time from June 12-18. Until then, we recommend bringing it in at night to prevent theft. Have a question about your flag? See the FAQs below.
Can I pay to keep my flag?
In an effort to avoid becoming a flag retailer, Project Rainbow does not sell flags for purchase. We want our flag campaigns to last as sustainable fundraisers year after year. We absolutely support our participants owning their own flags in addition to signing up for ours. We recommend local, queer-owned stores like Cahoots to purchase one.
What do I do if my flag is stolen?
If your flag is stolen, but the rebar was left, pull the rebar out of the ground, but save it for the volunteer to collect. If both the flag and rebar are taken, let us know so we don’t come to collect it.
Where do the proceeds go?
All money raised goes towards the Project Rainbow Community Fund which awards grants to LGBTQ+ projects and events throughout Utah.
Can my neighbors or friends still sign up for a flag?
Unfortunately, no. But have them get on our mailing list so they’re notified when registration opens in the future!
